“Hand therapy is the art and science of evaluating and treating injuries and conditions of the upper extremity (shoulder, arm, elbow, forearm, wrist and hand). It uses a number of therapeutic interventions to help return a person to their highest level of function. “- American Association of Hand Therapists

Alison attained her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2007 from Tufts University and since then has practiced exclusively in rehabilitation of the upper extremity. She passed the exam to become a Certified Hand Therapist as soon as she could sit for it in 2011 and continues to grow her practice. Her knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and now yoga all combine to provide a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
